Which stamps pay for a postcard

The Domestic Mail Manual lists Forever stamps printed with a price category, among them the postcard price. A stamp like that is always equal in value to the postcard price at the time of use:

“The following Forever stamps will always be equal in value to the applicable price for the price category printed on them, at the time of use:
The current FCM additional-ounce price

FCM non-machinable surcharge price

FCM 2-ounce stamped letter price

FCM 3-ounce stamped letter price

FCM postcard price

For a postcard sent abroad, the International Mail Manual says of Global Forever stamps:

“Global Forever stamps can be used to mail a postcard or 1–ounce machinable letter-size mailpiece anywhere in the world.”

A regular Forever stamp is worth 82¢ in Notice 123, more than the 65¢ postcard price. For the price of a letter and the weight table, see how much is a stamp; for the international price table, the Global Forever stamp page.

Postcard size limits and the sale price of a postcard stamp are not copied here; USPS.com lists both.
