USAA Military Pay Dates 2026

On its direct deposit page, USAA says: “You'll get your paycheck up to 2 days early.” The footnotes on the same page say early access “is subject to when USAA Federal Savings Bank receives notice of payment from the payer, which is generally one to two business days before the scheduled payment date,” and that it “is not guaranteed, may be stopped at any time, and may vary between pay periods.” The page covers direct deposit in general and does not list military dates or posting times.

How the table below is built. It is calculated by FedRateCalc from that wording, not a USAA calendar: the window starts 2 business days before the DFAS payday and ends 1 business day before it. Your deposit can arrive on the DFAS payday itself if USAA is notified late, and USAA can change or stop the feature.

USAA also says: “Holidays and bank closures can also cause a delay.” USAA does not say which holidays it counts, so we skip Saturdays, Sundays and Federal Reserve Bank holidays when counting business days. If USAA treats a day differently, the real dates will differ from this estimate.
