The USPS pages we read print no single national Saturday schedule, and USPS local releases list different Saturday hours for different Post Offices. To check one office, use USPS Find Locations, the page USPS names in its releases. USPS says regular mail delivery occurs Monday through Saturday, with the exception of postal holidays. USPS lists Independence Day (Saturday, July 4, 2026), Juneteenth (Saturday, June 19, 2027), and Christmas Day (Saturday, December 25, 2027) as postal holidays that fall on a Saturday in 2026 and 2027.
When we checked on November 4, 2026, the USPS pages named in Sources did not print one nationwide Saturday schedule for Post Offices. They printed Saturday hours only for individual Post Offices in past local releases. USPS is the authority on its own hours; confirm at usps.com or with your local Post Office.

Counting the USPS holiday lists for 2026 and 2027 by weekday, three postal holidays fall on a Saturday: Independence Day (Saturday, July 4, 2026), Juneteenth (Saturday, June 19, 2027), and Christmas Day (Saturday, December 25, 2027). USPS also prints a rule for Saturday holidays and open-Friday notes, quoted below.

Extended Saturday hours at select Post Offices in past Decembers
Some USPS districts have announced extra Saturday hours at select Post Offices before Christmas. The table repeats hours as USPS printed them in two California releases. The rows are examples that show hours differ from one Post Office to the next, not a rule for any other Post Office.
In its December 2020 Florida release, USPS also said the following about retail hours at some Post Offices.
When we checked on November 4, 2026, we found no 2026 announcement of extra Saturday or Sunday hours at select Post Offices. The releases above are from 2020 to 2023 and say nothing about 2026.
