On Friday, March 26, 2027, NYSE is closed and SIFMA recommends a full bond market close, but Federal Reserve Banks are open and Post Offices (per USPS) are open: neither the Federal Reserve schedule nor the USPS 2027 list includes Good Friday. SIFMA also recommends a 2:00 p.m. ET early close on Thursday, March 25, 2027.

The bond market rule differs by year. Good Friday 2026 (Friday, April 3, 2026) was not a full SIFMA close: SIFMA recommended a 12:00 p.m. ET early close that day, while NYSE was closed.
